Why We Like Iowa State
The Cyclones’ defense and home setting are the foundation of this pick. Iowa State has allowed 16 points and 272.5 yards per game through four games. West Virginia now faces its first true road assignment after three home games and a neutral-site contest.
On offense, Aiden Flora provides a rushing threat, and Jaylen Raynor brings extensive starting experience. West Virginia allowed 609 yards against Oklahoma State last week, giving Iowa State a chance to produce a more balanced offensive performance. We are looking for the Cyclones to sustain drives and make West Virginia earn its points without short fields.
West Virginia’s Challenge
