Clemson will start Christopher Vizzina at quarterback behind an offensive line replacing four veteran starters. His first assignment comes at night in Tiger Stadium against an LSU defensive front that was aggressively upgraded during the offseason.
LSU has more offensive upside under Lane Kiffin, but it is also breaking in a new quarterback, extensive transfer-portal turnover and a rebuilt offensive line. Clemson’s best path to staying competitive is limiting possessions, avoiding obvious passing situations and forcing LSU to sustain drives rather than turning the game into a shootout.
